Job Description

We are looking for a software project manager who is passionate about efficiently building and delivering quality software products. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to help design, build and roll-out software that delivers MaidPro’s technology vision and strategy as a Project Manager & Scrum Master.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years managing Agile projects (acting as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager), coordinating closely with product management to manage successful delivery of the project roadmap.  This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to grow their career. Key Accountabilities

  • Facilitate the Agile development process, which includes leading Agile meetings (Backlog Grooming Sessions, Planning, Review, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand Ups)
  • Anticipate and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery
  • Collaborate with product owners and the scrum team in developing product roadmaps and release milestones and decomposing requirements/user stories into tasks
  • Guide the creation of the product and sprint backlogs to be populated with well-formed, testable user stories
  • Help prioritize work with respect to goals and objectives of the business, feedback from relevant stakeholders and the development team
  • Identify, address, and communicate project risks to stakeholders
  • Monitor and report key Agile performance metrics to the executive / Technology leadership team
  • Collaborate on the Product Management process to facilitate change, support new corporate decisions and vision
  • Balance personal ownership and accountability of immediate responsibilities with the flexibility and drive to jump in and fill gaps across the team as they arise
  • Manage documentation and agile workflow

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Minimum of 4 years project management foundation and a firm understanding of multiple project management techniques and methods (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, Lean)
  • Experience in creating and managing feature requirements / user stories for development in agile software development environments
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal / written communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Must be energetic, goal oriented, innovative, hardworking, and patient
  • A good sense of humor; Work hard to play hard
  • Display a capacity to learn quickly and responds well to changes and opportunities
  • Strong understanding of QA processes
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and desire to wear multiple hats

Desirable Experience

  • Accredited Agile or Project Management certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce / platform and applications
  • Previous experience with Atlassian JIRA tracking tool (or similar Agile tool)
  • Familiarity with Relational Databases
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Experience working for a startup
